How It Works

Please note, dear sisters, that this is NOT a self-study program. This is LIVE online tutoring, which also means that you and the tutor WILL be able to look at each other. So, yes, dress appropriately.

Upon registration, a link to a virtual classroom will be sent to you along with an orientation email that will include a “Quick Participant Reference Guide”. You may want to look around and make yourself comfortable in advance. Nothing “geeky”, inshaAllah, so don’t worry.

It is strongly encouraged that a headset be purchased if you don’t already have one, and make sure you are using a broadband connection. It is highly recommended to connect to the Ethernet cable and not use your wireless connection.

To ensure that a session runs smoothly:
1. Close all other active windows (especially Facebook!).
2. Raise your hand (by clicking on the hand icon) to ask a question or ask via text chat. It helps to put your microphone on mute until it is time for you to speak or ask questions which, by the way, you will have PLENTY of time to do, inshaAllah.
